Kim Graves

Kim Graves is a doctoral student at the Catholic University of Lille, France. She graduated first from Heidelberg University in political science and sociology and then from Maastricht University in European Public Affairs, focusing on Democracy Studies, specifically on the impact of corruption scandals on public trust. She is researching the emergence of direct democratic institutions globally by using and improving upon the Direct Democracy Navigator. Her thesis aims to assess the capacity of democratic institutions to self-improve through citizen demand.
