Art. 114.
Any revision of the Constitution must be adopted in identical terms by the Chamber of Deputies in two successive votes, separated by an interval of at least three months.No revision will be approved if it meets at least two-thirds vote of the members of the House, voting by proxy is not allowed.
The text adopted on first reading by the Chamber of Deputies is submitted to a referendum, which replaces the second House vote, if within two months following the first vote a request is made either by over a quarter of the members of the House, twenty-five thousand electors registered on electoral lists for elections. The revision is adopted if it receives a majority of valid votes cast. The law shall regulate the details of the referendum.
